It has become increasingly undeniable that creativity, and The Creative Arts, add more than just opportunity for personal, albeit, artistic expression. The opportunity to give voice to a community's cultural contributions, cultural assets, and cultural values, is important. In addition, the East Side Collaborative Partnership is being formed as a ways and means of amplifying the voices of some of the City of Buffalo's most gifted and talented potential Leaders. We're going to do some marvelous, much needed, things. To learn more about Youth Opportunity! Buffaloβ’, or East Side Collaborative Partnership, visit their Information Pages, at this website. Click the "More" Tab, at the top of this page, and scroll down to they. Or, you can visit YO! Buffalo, quickly, by just clicking here. You can also get to The Collaborative's page, by clicking here.

It starts with you. It starts with me. It starts with us. To learn "how" you can become a part of this first-of-its-kind Movement, focused upon empowering and improving the East Side Buffalo Community's (most) historically disadvantaged, marginalized, and underserved neighborhoods, please contact the East Side Collaborative Partnership ["The Collaborative"], here.
Our Mission
It involves the aspiration to improve the quality-of-life available to residents of our city's East Side Buffalo Community, starting in Humboldt Parkway Neighborhood, but then radiating in and throughout the entire East Side. What's your vision concerning "how" progress might be approached, and how it might (ultimately) be accomplished? It starts with you, and it starts with me. Contact CAC.

Support, develop, build, and promote the Creative Leadership capacity, Offerings, and Talents, of the City of Buffalo's East Side Community Residents. For example, an East Side Youth Community Centre does not (yet) exist, but needs to be developed, The Collaborative is promoting the value of just such a socio-cultural entity and asset, and is also advocating concerning the recruitment of East Side Buffalo Community Residents, interested in establishing such. At present, The Collaborative's first Advocacy Engagement, is supporting Community Opposition to New York State Department of Transportation's (highly) controversial and authoritarian, restrictive, dictatorial, 'tunnel vision' NY Route 33 Kensington Expressway Project. NYSDOT's plan is a short-sighted $Billion Initiative that would retain the racially-motivated, 1950s era relic, NY Route 33 Kensington Expressway, and despite all the damage the expressway has caused. Despite all the Environmental Illnesses, it has inflicted. The Kensington Expressway is representative of the State of New York's utter disdain, and disregard, of all the freeway's Adverse Impacts. Its close proximity to Humboldt Parkway Neighborhood Households, has inflicted much misery, The Collaborative opposes such infrastructural barrier's continuation, and instead, supports the Removal and Remediation of the highway, as well as the Full Restoration of Humboldt Parkway's (formerly) majestic tree-lined canopy. In addition, The Collaborative supports the Reconnection of Humboldt Parkway Neighborhoods, and the Repair of Humboldt Parkway's, and Humboldt/MLK Park's, historic "connectivity" to North Buffalo's Delaware Park, as well as the Revitalization of Humboldt Parkway 's (former) historic resemblance to the West Side's and North Buffalo's Parkway Neighborhoods. These are The Collaborative's motivations, and its objectives. To learn more, click here.
