My Mission.
To (uniquely) empower the City of Buffalo's Black and African American Community; and, to enjoy a healthy, vibrant, and (highly) active partnership with its Residents, and (especially) even as I continue the pursuit of my Academic Studies. I'll be looking for opportunities to extend my Community Engagement, and during later years, to excel at my Profession. I have admired the Field of Urban Planning, all my life, thus far. Gaining an Offer of Admission from the University at Buffalo, has been nothing short of a (delayed) dream becoming true. Ultimately, I hope to help rebuild this Nation's Black Community, and starting first, right 'here', inside the Buffalo Niagara Region. I love the City of Buffalo, dearly. Was brought here, at the Age of four (4), and have traveled from 'here', to Brooklyn, and Borough of Manhattan, and all the way to Berlin. I was 'there', right after The Berlin Wall "fell". Here's to the strengthening, of "our" Community's (local, regional, national, and global) Alliance(s); and, to the Recovery, Sustainability, and the Preservation, of (all) our hard-won Gains. To understanding, to our multifaceted, multidimensional, multi-storied History, and to the Restoration of our time-honored Culture, and its venerable Traditions. Thank you, immensely, to Greater Refuge Temple | Buffalo, for everything you've done, and throughout all these years. You helped me to Stand, and to Guide.
